The Spencer brothers, Finn and Jeffrey, collaborated with Team Duotone to pioneer the Downwinder redesign. The outcome? Sleek, agile designs boasting swift glides, swiftly gaining momentum with minimal paddle strokes. The 2024 collection introduces four specific sizes, ranging from the compact 6’4″ x 19″ to the stable 7’8″ x 22.5″, offering volumes of 85, 95, 115, and 135l.
Featuring a low rocker, elongated outline, and clean undersurfaces, these boards effortlessly accelerate to take off speeds. Their slender pin tails and well defined rail bevels enable seamless water pumping for lift off, while the rounded rails ensure stable handling.
With remarkable glide and rapid acceleration, the Downwinder proves to be a game changer for light wind Wing Foiling! Crafted from full carbon, these boards demand delicate handling, yet their weight optimization remains uncompromised, defining the 2024 Downwinder technology.
