Our Rider series boards are engineered for optimal performance in all riding conditions. The battery compartment and lid are not sealed to be completely waterproof by design. This is intentional: both the battery and the hydrofoil are fully watertight and built to operate safely even when submerged. The presence of water around the battery compartment is completely normal and does not affect safety or performance. Unlike carbon composite boards, EPP foam naturally absorbs and retains small amounts of water within the material. This is a normal characteristic of EPP and does not affect the board’s safety or performance. Estimated battery range values for a 75kg rider with Cruiser 1900 wing, open propeller, and 100l board at 15 km/h.
