The Harlem Thrive LiteX represents the absolute limit of what is possible with current kite technology. By combining the legendary 3-strut Thrive geometry with a complete LiteX airframe and canopy, Harlem has created a kite that is significantly lighter than the standard version. It is designed for those “glassy” days where you want to foil or freeride in the lightest breeze, but still want the structural integrity and stability that only a 3-strut frame can provide.

OUR GENUINE TAKE: PERFORMANCE AT THE LIMIT
We’ve put the Thrive LiteX through its paces at the school, and the results are frankly hard to believe. In our testing, we were able to keep the kite flying and riding in just 8 knots of wind. While other 3-strut kites were struggling to stay in the air, the LiteX felt active, responsive, and completely at home. It provides a smooth, “elevator-like” lift for jumps and transitions that makes light-wind freeriding feel effortless.
A Note on Care: Because this is a high-performance “Formula 1” machine, it has been heavily slimmed down to achieve its world-class weight. To preserve the integrity of the ultra-light LiteX materials, we recommend treating it with the care a specialist tool deserves. Avoid leaving it to flap on the beach for extended periods; instead, we advise packing it into its bag shortly after your session to keep the fabric crisp and the performance at its peak.

LiteX is Harlem’s ultra-premium fabric that replaces standard materials to shed weight without losing the “Harlem Stiffness.”
- Unmatched Float: The 32g/m2 LiteX canopy is the lightest on the market, preventing the kite from stalling or falling backward during lulls.
- Structural Integrity: By using LiteX in the center and FlyLite in the wingtips, the kite maintains a fast, pivotal turn despite its large surface area—perfect for staying in the power zone.
- Zero Needle Holes: Built at Brainchild using PROWELD technology, the seams are fused rather than sewn, ensuring the airframe remains rock-solid and air-tight.
