ELEVEIGHT MASTER V9: THE PERFORMANCE FREESTYLE MASTERPIECE
In our school, we see a lot of riders reach a “plateau” where their board starts holding them back. The Eleveight Master V9 is designed to smash through that ceiling. It is a high-performance freeride to freestyle crossover board that blends heavy-duty construction with a surprisingly playful feel. Whether you’re hunting for your biggest Woo score or perfecting your unhooked tricks, the Master V9 provides the grip and launch you need.

OUR GENUINE TAKE: WHO IS IT FOR?
We recommend the Master V9 for ambitious riders. If you are starting to jump and find your current “beginner” board feels a bit “mushy” or slides out when you load up your edge, the Master is the answer. It has incredible edge-hold, meaning you can hold more power in your kite and convert that into vertical height.
The Reality Check: Because this is a performance board, it has a flatter rocker and stiffer flex than a pure “comfort” board like the Process. If you have very sensitive knees or only care about cruising in heavy chop with maximum comfort, you might find the Master a bit more “technical” to ride. It wants to go fast and it wants to jump—it’s not a “lazy” board.
TECH SPEC (IN PLAIN ENGLISH)
Here is why the Master V9 actually performs the way it does:
- Carbon Fusion: Eleveight uses a carbon-stringer top layer. Think of this like a spring; it stores energy when you push down and snaps back when you jump, giving you that extra “boost.”
- Multi-Stage Rocker: The board’s curve is designed to cut through chop while maintaining a fast top speed. It helps you stay upwind easily even when the water isn’t perfectly flat.
- G10 Fins: These aren’t cheap plastic. They are high-quality epoxy fins that provide “locked-in” grip, so the board won’t skid out when you’re leaning back hard.
- PRS Rails: These are “Parabolic Rails” that help with spray reduction. No one likes salt water in their eyes when they’re trying to spot a landing!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)
Is the Master V9 suitable for beginners?
While a beginner can ride it, it’s really designed for “Level 3” riders and up—people who are riding upwind and starting to jump. Beginners might find the Eleveight Process a bit easier for those first few months.
Can I wear boots on the Master V9?
Yes! The Master is reinforced for both pads/straps and boots. It’s a favorite for kite-park and freestyle riders who prefer the locked-in feel of boots.
How does it handle chop?
Surprisingly well for a performance board. The PRS rails and wood core absorb a lot of the “clatter” you get on windy, messy days.
What size should I get?
This depends on your weight. If you’re unsure, drop us a message! Generally, the 136 or 139 are the “sweet spot” sizes for most average-weight riders.
NEED HELP CHOOSING YOUR SIZE?
Getting the right board size is just as important as the model itself. We’ve spent hundreds of hours on the Master range and can help you figure out if this fits your riding style and local conditions. We’re always open for a chat and love giving advice!
