What Is the Reedin Snackpack?

The Snackpack is a hybrid kiteboard born from a simple but brilliant question, asked by professional rider Kevin Langeree: “Why not remove the trade-off?”

For years, kiters have had to choose — take the twin tip for the jumping, or take the directional for the waves. The Snackpack refuses to make that choice for you. It blends surf-inspired carving with twin-tip jumping and freeride performance into a single board you can grab and go, whatever the conditions are doing.

What makes it stand out technically:

• Six-fin setup (three per side) — delivers exceptional grip through turns and makes bottom turns feel planted and predictable
• Step tail — provides a clean water release and a loose, playful feel without sacrificing control

Sizing runs 142, 146 and 150cm — and Reedin recommend going 8–12cm bigger than your usual twin tip, which gives you improved planing, extra stability in the carve, and that smoothness across mixed conditions.

“It’s a little less forgiving than the HTF I currently have in gusts, but it moves nicely and consistently and has a huge amount of power. It took a little while to get used to its speed and precision — but I was quickly doing nice jump transitions and little jumps. Easy to steer and keep it exactly where I wanted it.”
